UNLEASH Your Talent

A certain master endowed his servants with talents and took a journey. These talents are symbolic of the great treasure, gifts, strength and ability placed within us by our Creator.

After a while the master returned and it was time to receive their accounts of stewardship. The first servant maximized his talent and multiplied his wealth, the second servant did likewise and they were duly commended, but the third servant had a different story to tell.

He was scared to maximize his talent because he never understood the potential of his talent and consequently buried it.

The master asked him “why did you leave your talent dormant and untapped?” He called him lazy, wicked and unprofitable for refusing to maximize his talent.

For many people who are like this fellow, you must realize that:

  1. Everyone came loaded with (at least) a Gift/Strength/Talent.
  2. Every Gift/Strength/Talent is God-given.
  3. Every Gift/Strength/Talent is given to make you productive, make you a Blessing and make you profit.
  4. Every Gift/Strength/Talent has the potential to Multiply.
  5. It’s an act of wickedness and slothfulness, to choose NOT to maximize your Gift/Strength/Talent and profit from it.

It’s your responsibility to UNLEASH your talent and choose to bless humanity!

Profound Life, Leadership & Business Lessons from the Tower of Babel

Nimrod was a mighty and prosperous man who lived many years ago and had an idea, to build a mega city with a skyscraper that would reach to heaven.

He shared his dream with his people and soon, they organized themselves and mobilized resources for the construction of this mega city, primarily to settle there and make a name for themselves.

Nimrod and his mega idea can be likened to the famous ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Al-Maktoum, and his mega idea of transforming Dubai by implementing nearly-impossible ideas.

Looking through the story of the tower of Babel, I discovered certain profound lessons from their successes and failures worth sharing:

  1. VISION: They had a dream/vision
  2. LEADERSHIP: They believed in their leadership and in the dream
  3. GOAL: They were united with a common goal
  4. MUTUAL AGREEMENT: They had a common language and a possibility mindset
  5. PLANNING: They understood their needs and had a workable plan of action
  6. TEAMWORK: They valued and practiced effective teamwork
  7. FOCUS & ACTION: They took actionable steps and focused on their plan of execution

  1. PURPOSE: They misaligned themselves from divine purpose
  2. COMFORT: They let their state of comfort impede their sense of progress
  3. PRIDE: They let their quest for fame to breed self-centeredness and this led to their failure.

Now, we can learn from their successes, note and avoid their errors and build the capacity needed to bring our dreams to fruition.

Finding Your “US”

One of the most valuable assets a person can ever have is relationship.

When you have one or two or more persons that believe in you, your dreams and ideas and they are committed to working the dream, then you’ve found your “US”.

When Nimrod had a dream to build a city with a tower to reach heaven, he gathered his “US” (his team) and they mustered so much energy, working in unity that God said nothing can retrain them from achieving their imagination and what they have set out to do! That’s how powerful teamwork can be.

Two reasons you have been struggling to birth your dream into reality is:

  1. You’re trying to do it alone.
  2. You’ve not found the right people (your US).

Collaboration can birth some of the highest forms of possibilities, as long as you have the right team.

There are also two irrefutable truths you must never forget:

  1. One, is too small a number to achieve greatness.
  2. If the closest people around you don’t believe in your dream and idea, they’re about to kill you.

When you have the right people, working with the right heart, to achieve the right purpose, then all things are possible!

The choice is yours to find your “US”, work the dream and achieve your greatness.

Here’s how to spend the $301,000,000 you have right now but don’t know

big-stack-one-trillion-dollar-bills_33ca96606849304dYes, everyone alive today has got $301,000,000 in the form of time but many will never know.

2017 came loaded with 365 days, we’ve already spent 64 days and we are left with 301 days.

Assuming each day is equivalent to $1,000,000 how will you spend it?

One advantage of money over time is that it can be recovered when it’s lost, but time can’t be recovered after it is lost.

If you can’t manage time to optimize it, it’s one sign that you can’t manage money and this will lead you to being broke.

It’s up to you, to either waste your $301,000,000 and achieve nothing or invest it wisely, create value, grow each day, fulfill purpose, achieve your dreams and be a blessing to humanity out of your abundance.

Refuse to waste.

Choose to invest wisely!

Make the remaining 301 days of this year work for your advantage.
